Janet Kane began studying Greek philosophy at the age of 15, starting with the “big three”: Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. This early interest opened the door to a much broader exploration of philosophers from many different cultures.

Yet her fascination with ancient Greek culture never faded. In time, she discovered that the Greeks also practiced astrology—and that they viewedthe planets as representations of the gods and goddesses. This insight led her to study horoscope charts through the lens of ancient Greek tradition, where she found that the birth chart did tell the unfolding story of these mythological figures.

Later, in her study of C. G. Jung, Janet encountered the idea that these gods and goddesses are in fact archetypal figures—what Jung described as *universal, primordial patterns or images embedded in the collective unconscious*.

As an introvert who had long pursued these subjects on her own, Janet gradually realized that many others were also eager to understand which archetypal stories might be playing out in their own birth charts. The archetypal patterns in the birth chart echo the themes found in classical myths, fairy tales, and great works of literature. For the past 35 years, shehas worked as a consulting astrologer helping clients recognize the archetypal stories shaping their life journeys.
